System Vario Plus from Eschenbach is the most successful illuminated magnifier series ever with a varied selection of magnification and illumination options. Designed for use by resting on top of the reading material, they are ideally suited for reading over long periods of time and for users who cannot hold magnifiers freely (e.g. age-related shaking or Parkinson‘s disease).
Aspheric PXM lightweight lens produces a distortion-free image and edge-to-edge sharpness whilst cera-tec coating ensures a scratch-proof lens with high visual comfort.
Round Lens
Ten different magnifier heads are available with magnifications from 3.0x up to 12.5x. Select the magnification you prefer. These models all have round lenses with and diameters of 35mm up to 80mm. Models with a diameter greater than 58 mm are fitted with a retractable, red reading line for improved line-by-line reading orientation. Three alternative models are available with rectangular lenses. The higher magnification models have smaller lenses as shown in the table below. All magnifiers are calculated for a uniform eye-to-image distance (aE) of 400 mm (approx. 2.5 dpt. addition). Details relating to magnification/ dioptre value/ recommended eye-lens distance are stated on all magnifier heads.
Illumination
Optimal illumination of the reading material is ensured by the bright LED light source and enclosed magnifier heads. Large, easy-to-use on/off switch makes System Vario easy to handle. Filters are included to give a choice of 3 different colour temperatures for the LED illumination.
Requires 2 x C-size 1.5V batteries which are not included but can be ordered at the same time, see Related Accessories tab above. Made in Germany.

Delivery costs will be estimated in your basket, except under certain conditions. You must enter your country and post code, or be logged into your account, to see your options for delivery and the cost for each method. In the event that you do not see any delivery options during checkout please use the Request for Quote option for a personal quotation.
UK Vat is automatically deducted from our prices for export orders.
All orders for delivery outside UK are supplied on CPT (Incoterms) basis, which excludes insurance and any local taxes. This means that you will have to pay your local tax and any applicable duties to the carrier before receiving your delivery. Failing to do so may result in your package being returned to us.
You can find the tariff code and country of origin in the "More Information Tab" on every product page on our website. This information will enable you to estimate any local import taxes/duties which might be requested by your customs.
