The Euromex 4K Ultra High Definition microscope camera, model VC.3042, is a new solution to modern microscopy for industry and education where real time images are needed. This 4K UHD camera has a Sony sensor deliverying a horizontal display resolution of 3,840 pixels (2,160p) to suit the latest 4K screens.
Images are generated with exceptional quality, delivering true colour rendering at high frame rates. The VC.3042 is perfect for use with biological, metallurgical or stereo microscopes.
The 4K UHD ultra high definition camera can be used in two modes, in a stand-alone with its embedded mouse-driven software or in a computer controlled mode. No PC is required to operate in stand-alone mode.
Stand-alone Mode
Connect directly to a monitor or projector using HDMI output at full 30 fps (frames per second). No computer is needed. The embedded mouse-driven software enables image capture and saving videos to an SD memory card or USB key, all with no computer. The software also offers extensive on screen features including measurement functions with calibration, digital zoom, camera settings, image comparison and more. Stand-alone model is ideal for inspection tasks or sharing images on a large monitor where real time images are needed.
Available with 11.6" HD Monitor (VC.3042-HDS) or as camera only (VC.3042) to connect to your own HD monitor.
Computer Controlled Mode
For more control and software functions the 4k HD camera can be connected to a computer using either USB 2.0 or WiFi and benefit from the extensive functions of the Euromex Image Focus Alpha software. More camera and image controls, calibrated measurements on live and still images and the ability to create annotations on captured images. Compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10, both 32 and 64 bits. A version for Mac OS is also available with some differences in features.
Microscope Connection
The HD 4K connects to microscopes using a 0.5x C-Mount adapter. For microscopes with a standard 23.2 mm tube, the 0.5x adapter is included. Also provided are conversion adapters for 30.0 and 30.5 mm tubes typically used with stereo microscopes. For other microscope tubes, please contact us.

We use DHL Express Courier Delivery - cost varies with delivery address and product weight.
To see the delivery cost you must first Add to Basket a product that you are interested to purchase and then enter your delivery address in the basket or checkout pages. If you do not see any delivery options during checkout please use the Request a Quote option.
All orders for delivery outside UK are supplied on CPT (Incoterms) basis, which excludes insurance and any local taxes. This means that you will have to pay your local tax and any applicable duties to the carrier before receiving your delivery. Failing to do so may result in your package being returned to us.
You can find the tariff code and country of origin in the "More Information Tab" on every product page on our website. This information will enable you to estimate any local import taxes/duties which might be requested by your customs.
How much will delivery cost?
Delivery costs will be estimated in your basket, except under certain conditions.
