Metric video measurement software has the most extensive range of manual and automatic measurement functions, image capture and annotation capability of any measurement software on the market. Measure in Live Image

The advantage of Metric being able to measure in the live image saves an enormous amount of time, since the pictures do not need to be saved first and subsequently retrieved again. Through the use of our USB 2.0 camera, the software can be installed on as many computers as desired. Metric is enabled wherever the camera is connected. On the one hand, this removes the need for the troublesome USB dongle, and on the other, it is extremely practical for mobile systems such as the Cellcheck Series, given that everyone who wants to share a microscope already has the software installed on their computer.

25 Languages

Metric can be switched between twenty-five languages, a feature that has led to its use all over the world. This is not only of interest to international clients. In large companies with staff from many different nations, software training is made much easier.

Free Updates

Updates for Metric measurement software are free of charge. With the corresponding serial number, the user is immediately taken to the correct version in our download area. This saves time-consuming update contracts and ensures that users can always keep their systems up to date. Three Versions:

Metric measurement software is available in three versions (download Functions list for comparison). It is possible at any time to upgrade between Metric BE, PE and MT at the original price difference. Your old version will keep it's value.

Metric BE
Metric BE is intended only to display and save images and generate cross-hairs for positioning. The DoubleCheck function enables two live images with cross-hairs to be automatically launched beside each other when two cameras are used.

Metric PE
Basic measuring functions such as distance, radius, diameter, angles and more. Image capture with Jpeg, BMP and TIFF formats. Annotate with text and markers. Export measurements into Excel to create reports. Assign functions to as many as 30 hot keys.

Metric MT
Contains all measurement functions that are available. In addition to the functions in ECO version there are: special circular measurements, functions for PCBs, thickness measurements, thread-cutting, milling and drilling measurement functions.

Import DXF files for inspection with a DFX overlay. Focus calculation and many other special functions. One click export of measurements and images together into Excel. Has two additional function levels: The buttons located in the left column activate the measurements point, line, circle and circle segment. The three buttons below are intended for the distance, angle and best-fit line. With the four upper measuring functions, all relevant objects or measuring points are marked. After that the measurements can be linked up as required in the calculator window (button with the PC)..

The second function includes the readout of X, Y and Z values. Metric MT can as a rule be combined with nearly any measurement system. Regardless of whether the measuring tables are from Märzhäuser, Uhl, Prior, Steinmeyer or Micos, the XY-axes are read and calculated in Metric MT. If no direct USB or RS-232 connection is possible, it may be necessary to transfer data via a suitable interface. Data from measuring spindles such as Mitutoyo, Sylvac, Heidenhain or integrated measuring systems, for instance from Schneeberger, on or in guidance systems is also processed. The X, Y and Z values are permanently displayed in an additional window in Metric. Contact us for a list of the measurement systems which can currently be read. Moreover the Metric MT has a variety of special measuring features for tool measurement (drills, milling cutters, thread taps and indexable cutting inserts). New Image processing features for diameters, radiuses, distances and angles offer even faster measurement with greater reproducibility. With good contrast it is only necessary for users to draw a box with the mouse - the results are displayed automatically. In addition all KITEC measuring functions can be used with automatic edge sensing.
