The Peak 2055-L Scale Loupe is identical to the Peak 2055 magnifier with magnification factor of 20x in combination with a glass scale having 0.1 mm graduations, however this model is integrated into an illumination unit consisting of a LED penlight and holder with two 1.5 volt AAA batteries. Batteries are not included.
The 2055-L scale loupe has a large field of view (12 mm) and measuring range in relation to the magnification factor, a perfect optical system consisting of two groups each with three lenses.
Accurate and sharp measurements can be obtained with clear erect images. Ideal for applications where a 10x magnifier is not sufficient but a 30x is too high for convenient use.
The field curvature as well as the lateral chromatic deviation are perfectly corrected by the combination of four lenses. Two of the lenses are produced using a new type of optical glass. Moreover all air/glass interfaces have a multiple coatings to prevent internal reflections (anti-reflex coating).
An additional white scale is available for this measuring magnifier (see related products). The magnifier can be separated from the illumination unit. Made in Japan.
