The Tagarno ZAP+ Digital microscope has just received a major upgrade in May 2026 with a new Sony camera deliverying faster processing, improved image clarity and smoother operation. The ZAP+ is customisable with multipe mounting and software options to suit individual needs. Magnification ranges from 0.8x to 660x with interchangeable lenses.
Superb image quality with FHD 1080p resolution in 16:9 format and 60 fps providing almost zero latency. With auto-focus and built-in laser pointer the ZAP is ideal for large samples.
Connect the Tagarno ZAP directly to an HD 1080p monitor with HDMI cable (we recommend a minimum 24" monitor). ZAP also has a USB 3.0 output to connect to your PC to transfer images using the native Windows camera App.

Brighter, faster and better colours with new camera - ZAP+ features a new Sony camera with improved dynamic range, allowing details on reflective surfaces, solder joints, or mixed-contrast objects to appear clearly, even with less manual adjustment required compared to previous versions of the ZAP microscope.
The new camera, as seen on this photo, also has better colour reproduction and sensitivity, creating brighter images with less noise and colours that are more natural and reliable.
A faster image processor also allows for quicker adjustments of settings and more efficient inspections overall.

We ship worldwide using DHL.
Delivery costs will be shown in your basket for certain countries only. You must enter your country and post code, or be logged into your account, to see your options for delivery and the cost for each method. If you do not see any delivery options during checkout please use the Request for Quote option for a personal quotation with delivery costs.
UK Vat is automatically deducted from our prices for export orders.
All orders for delivery outside UK are supplied on CPT (Incoterms) basis, which excludes insurance and any local taxes. This means that you will have to pay your local tax and any applicable duties to the carrier before receiving your delivery. Failing to do so may result in your package being returned to us.
You can find the tariff code and country of origin in the "More Information Tab" on every product page on our website. This information will enable you to estimate any local import taxes/duties which might be requested by your customs.
