The Camβ is a new portable digital magnifier from Vision Engineering. Featuring a 4.3" display, bright LED illumination and variable magnification from 4x to 20x, the Camβ digital magnifier is ideal for manufacturing, quality control and repair environments and low vision where viewing, image capture, reporting and documentation is required.
Camβ has a high resolution colour display, easy button operation, simple image capture so you can inspect and document quickly and simply. Designed to be hand held with secure grip for left and right hand use. Camβ is provided with a flip out leg to aid stability at high magnification. Simply flip it out fully to help maintain the ideal distance from the item you are viewing. Fold back in place when not in use.
Illumination is provided by 4 LED and optimised for close focusing. With several view modes including colour, black & white, inverted and grey scale the operator can customise to their individual needs. It also includes a removable 4GB SD card that stores up to 20000 photos, which are downloadable via the USB connection (included).
Camβ is better than using a smartphone
Camβ is well suited in production environments. It is handy for inspection subjects in dark or hard to reach areas. Also ideal in secure environments where company's policy disallows the use of mobile phones. Simple operation allows for quick parts documentation and /or training and quality assurance.
Measurement capability:
On screen virtual caliper with 1 mm grid provides simple X,Y measurement capability. The caliper is switchable on/off.

Delivery costs will be estimated in your basket, except under certain conditions. UK Vat is automatically deducted from our prices for export orders.
All orders for delivery outside UK are supplied on CPT (Incoterms) basis, which excludes insurance and any local taxes. This means that you will have to pay your local tax and any applicable duties to the carrier before receiving your delivery. Failing to do so may result in your package being returned to us.
You can find the tariff code and country of origin in the "More Information Tab" on every product page on our website. This information will enable you to estimate any local import taxes/duties which might be requested by your customs.
