Peak 2044 Zoom Loupe Measuring Magnifier with Metric & Inch Scale, 8x-16x
Peak 2044 Zoom Loupe is a unique optical measuring magnifier allowing infinite zoom magnification between 8x to 16x. The Zoom Lupe 816 consists of 8 lenses in 6 groups providing sufficient luminosity in all magnification stages with minimal optical aberration.
The notched diaphragm helps to select a magnification of 8x, 10x, 12x, 14x and 16x, which are shown in a small window. Constructed from precision machined aluminium the smooth zoom adjustment is similar to a camera lense. Measurements can be taken in either metric or inch using the dual scale reticule built into the base.
Before starting measurements, move the ring at the bottom of the lens body and select the optimal magnification factor. After selection, use the focus ring on the eye cup to focus the built-in scale. This eight lens optical system is the perfect tool for technicians and appraisers. These magnifiers are coated to prevent reflection. Made in Japan.
