PeplerOptics is a UK distributor of microscopes, digital imaging systems, magnifiers and inspection tools for industry, laboratories, research and education. From our base in Knutsford, Cheshire, we supply customers across the UK and around the world.

Our story

PeplerOptics was founded in 2011 by Andrew Norton as a specialist division of PeplerTech Ltd, which supplies production equipment and software to the electronics manufacturing industry. PeplerTech's customers kept asking for reliable optical inspection and measurement equipment, so we applied the same technical knowledge to build a dedicated business around it.

Fifteen years on, we are still independent, still based in Cheshire, and still run by a small family team who handle enquiries themselves. That means you speak to someone who knows the products and how they are used, whether you are inspecting circuit boards, teaching a lab class or restoring a manuscript.

Who we help

Our customers include engineers, laboratory technicians, researchers, lecturers, conservators and hobbyists. They work in aerospace, automotive, electronics, life sciences, metallurgy, print and packaging, universities, museums and conservation institutions. Whatever the field, we start by asking what you need to see, measure or inspect, then recommend equipment that fits the task and the budget, even when that means the simpler option.

We hold stock in our own UK warehouse, so many orders ship the same day and arrive the next day. We carry popular models and specialist items that are hard to find elsewhere. We stock one of the UK's most complete ranges of Dino-Lite digital microscopes, along with their full range of accessories and spare parts.
