Returns & Cancellations
If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason within 30 days of receiving your products, we are more than happy to arrange the return of your products in line with our terms and conditions. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please let us know and we will do whatever it takes to respond and fix the problem. If you are a consumer you can return your purchase within 30 days for an exchange or refund. Business customers please see our full Terms & Conditions. If you placed your order through a marketplace such as Amazon or eBay a different returns procedure applies so your return request must be made through the marketplace.
All returns for credit must be in a condition fit for immediate re-sale, with any seals intact and including original packaging, all software (if applicable), inner packing materials, and accessories. Returns must be received within 30 days of the date shipped to you. Returns are not accepted for equipment which has been used. We can offer a trial period on certain products if agreed in advance of purchasing, please contact us.
If you do need to return something you will need to pay for the return postage. All we ask is that you send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your reference number (found on the packing slip or invoice) and the reason for the return. We will reply with a RMA number and the address to send to. We recommend you use a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held liable for the loss or damage of any parcel on its return journey to PeplerOptics. Please do not return your item until you have received the RMA number.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or to charge a restocking fee for used, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise non-conforming returns. In addition, there may be some restrictions on certain products being returned, such as:
- Non-cancellable and non-returnable products (as communicated in your invoice or order acknowledgement)
- Consumables (eg. Anti-static cloths and gloves) once their primary packaging or inner wrapping has been opened
- Products such as microscopes which have been exposed to hazardous materials
- Products that are no longer in usable condition
When your parcel is received we will notify you by email and check the contents. Unless you have requested an exchange we will automatically refund your payment. If you have requested and exchange we will send your replacement item to you with no delivery charge.
All refunds will be made to the original purchaser using the same card or account. Please note that we will not refund any postage fees (except if you have received the wrong product).
Please allow 14 days from receipt for your return to be processed.
Cancelling an order
We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and orders need to be cancelled or postponed before they are dispatched. When that's the case, please contact us immediately.

Important Brexit Update - The UK left the European Union on 31/12/2020. Any returns from EU countries received after 31st December 2020 might incur additional customs charges which will be deducted from the refund
